The Great Gatsby      There are a wide range of kinds of individuals in this world. Aside from physical highlights, it is the attributes of an individual that makes him/her unique. Scratch Carraway the storyteller of The Great Gatsby, has characteristics which are the direct inverse of those of Tom Buchanan, his cousin-in-law. In the novel, the creator, F. Scott Fitzgerald, utilizes the examination between two cousins to show how their varying attributes mirrors the topics of profound quality and reality versus dream.      One of Nick’s Characteristics, that is incongruent with Toms is that Nick is wary when talking.
